Shan Shnookal loved horses from a very early age. She obtained a B.Sc. from Melbourne University, and spent a short time working in a laboratory. She then became a dancer, and later taught English to adult migrants, with sidelines in stained glass mosaic art, choir singing and tap dancing. Now, in her ‘third age’ she has been able to completely indulge her enduring passion for playing and learning with horses, while teaching a small unit of business studies to apprentice farriers.
